Assault on RTI activist,one held

The Nagpada police arrested one Danial Abrahem,50,for allegedly assaulting RTI activist Santosh Daundkar (38) on Saturday night. Police said Daundkar had been opposing ‘illegal’ activities of a builder in the area and had also got him arrested in March.

Senior police inspector Sanjay Kadam said according to Daundkar’s complaint he was walking past the builder’s office when Abrahem and four others allegedly hit him.
