Big B may undergo another surgery

The emergence of fresh medical issues is likely to extend actor Amitabh Bachchan’s stay at the Seven Hills Hospital. Bachchan,who underwent surgery for hernia,was to be discharged on Monday but he was put under observation following an acute pain post surgery.

“ I have no idea how long this will take but it does look as though it will be long…Some more tests…more unpronounceable medication..and…another visit to the OT…going to be a long stay..,” Bachchan tweeted on Thursday night. He also posted on his blog that he would not be detailing on his condition any more as he needs to concentrate on his treatment. Bachchan has been staying on the fifth floor of the five-star Seven Hills Hospital in Marol. The doctors at the hospital were tight-lipped about Bachchan’s condition,while saying that there is no reason for panic.

“ Yes,he has been complaining of pain after the surgery,but there is no serious cause for concern. He has been put under observation and will continue to stay here for at least the next couple of days,” said a hospital source.
