Make Mullanpur Dakha a sub-division: Ayali

Manpreet Singh Ayali,MLA Dakha,on Friday,demanded that Mullanpur Dakha should also be made a sub-division. He raised this question in the question hour session in the Assembly before Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal,who assured that he will look into this matter.

Ayali said,“De-limitation of Ludhiana has happened on the basis of Patwar,Kannungo and sub-division circle and in all there are eight rural constituencies in Ludhiana.”

He added,“The Dakha area has been divided into two sub-divisions one is in Jagraon and the rest comes under Ludhiana West. The residents face lots of problems as these sub-divisions are over loaded with works.”

It should be noted that two sub-tehsil offices built at a cost of Rs 30-Rs 35 lakh have been inaugurated in Dakha and Sidhwan Bet.
