Got a bad handwriting?

Handwriting is the graphical representation of our interpretation of life indicating intellectual potential...

You still stand a chance to write legibly. Chandigarh-based graphologist Mohan Ray says 50% people are struggling with bad handwriting

“Handwriting is the graphical representation of our interpretation of life indicating intellectual potential, emotional tendencies, confidence, fear, unique qualities and how our feelings shape our views and of those around us.” This is how Mohan Ray,a Chandigarh-based graphologist and graphotherapist, explains one’s handwriting. “A good handwriting means a good personality. But 50 per cent people are struggling with poor handwriting.”

Ray,who is in the city to hold a two-day ‘healthy handwriting’ workshop at Khalsa Girls Senior Secondary School in Civil Lines, said: “Every year, thousands of students lose marks just because of poor handwriting. From Class I to Class VIII,teachers keep giving notes to children such as “good handwriting keep it up”,‘poor handwriting, improve it’ and after that, teachers stop commenting on how a person writes. Thereafter, senior students start assuming that they are too old to improve their handwriting. Some schools who are highly concerned with handwriting confuse them with calligraphy and, thus, cause danger to the young hand.”

He further said that be it a student or a professional,we cannot go with our papers to explain what has been penned. “And if our tool of communication is poor,we fail to communicate effectively and do not get the desired response. To combat this problem,I have developed my skill and improvised a system called ‘healthy handwriting’.”

He claims that his skill can help anyone between the age of 5 to 60 years to write legibly and purposefully even under stressful conditions.

With ‘magical methodology’,the first-of-its-kind handwriting improvement programme,Ray said,“It is a master tool that can repair handwriting without any difficulty. I diagnose every individual’s difficulty in handwriting and decide instructions according to his/her need.” He added that many people say that due to computers, they do not need to write much.“If a person has a good handwriting,it also reflects his/her personality. Because when we do some physical activity,it also affects our mind and brain. Similarly, when we discipline ourselves to write legibly,it also changes neuropathways in the brain and thus changes our personality.”
