In a bid to check bunking of classes by students,Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) has sought details of attendance from all technical institutes in the state. A circular to this effect has been sent to all 589 engineering colleges of the state by the UPTU examination controller V K Singh asking them to furnish monthly details of students having short attendance.
