Body of dismissed police constable found in train
MUZAFFARNAGAR: A police constable,who was apparently disturbed over his dismissal from service,was found dead in a train at the Itawa railway station,the police said on Friday. It is suspected that Constable Ramesh Chand Khoker had committed suicide by consuming poison on Thursday.

One held in fake currency racket
LUCKNOW: The UP Anti-Terror Squad arrested a member of a gang allegedly engaged in supplying fake Indian currency notes to various cities of north India from Nepal. The cops seized fake currency to the face value of Rs 1 lakh from the possession of the accused.
ADG (Law & Order) Brij Lal said following a tip-off the ATS laid a trap and caught Kanhaiyalal Gupta from Badhni area of Sidhhartha Nagar district ton Friday noon.
