Donald Trump Davos 2026 Speech Date, Time United States President Donald Trump is headed to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) in the Swiss Alps on Wednesday on the heels of threatening tariffs on Denmark and 7 other allies, news agency AP reported.
The WEF’s 56th Annual Meeting kicked off on Monday, amid a massive global upheaval, with leaders and experts from across disciplines attending the five-day event.
Trump’s visit comes as he looks to wrest control of Greenland from NATO ally Denmark, a move that could possibly tear down US’s relations with European allies, AP noted. The tariffs imposed on Denmark is not to be revoked unless allies negotiate a transfer of the semi-autonomous territory — a concession the European leaders indicated they are not willing to make, AP report stated.
