Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat will deliver a lecture to prominent people from diverse sectors in Mumbai on February 7, according to an RSS statement issued in Mumbai Wednesday. It will be followed by an interactive session the next day.

As part of the RSS centenary year programmes, a two-day lecture series titled ‘New Horizons’ has been organised at Nehru Centre, Worli, on February 7 and 8, 2026. This event marks the final leg of a four-city series that previously took place in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, according to the statement. The series features four sessions across two days, with Bhagwat’s lecture on day one and the question-and-answer session the next day.

Outlining the details of the event, Arjun Chandekar, Sanghchalak of Kokan Prant, said, “We have invited eminent personalities from various walks of life, including industrialists, cinema personalities, artists, litterateurs, scientists, doctors, advocates, sportspersons, social organisations, academicians, media owners and editors, dharmagurus, social media influencers, financial experts, and advertising agencies. The response we have received from them has been tremendous and humbling for us. Over the years, the acceptance and participation of Sajjan Shakti in Sangh Karya have increased manifold.”

According to the statement, the RSS centenary year has placed special emphasis on Panch Parivartan: fostering family values, social harmony, civic responsibilities, self-awareness, and environmental protection.

The RSS centenary year spans from Vijayadashami 2025 to Vijayadashami 2026. A series of inspiring events has been planned, including gruh sampark, Hindu sammelan, intellectual gatherings, social groups gatherings, and yuva sammelan, to engage diverse sections of society, the statement added.

In October, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised those who had led the RSS over its 100-year journey. From its founder Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar to incumbent chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat, every Sarsanghchalak, he said, had fought against discrimination and untouchability. PM Modi then said that the RSS was founded with an unwavering belief in the nation, and it has worked on the path of selfless service to the nation.
