Contractor dies at construction site

A 32-year-old labour contractor died at the under-construction high court building in Vibhuti Khand police station area on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Jannan (32),a resident of Gilaula area in Shravasti district. Station Officer Vibhuti Khand Anil Yadav said the incident took place around 11.30 am when Jannan was building the base for erecting a pillar and came under a pile of soil and sand. He was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital where he died.
