The Lucknow CBI court today directed the superintendent of Lucknow District Jail to provide medical facilities to Ram Krishna Verma,an accused in the case of CMO murders,who has suffered a paralysis attack on the right side of the body.
Verma,along with two other accused Anand Prakash Tiwari and Vinod Sharma,was brought to court for a hearing. Verma was found physically weak and the right side of his face appears to be motionless.
In his application to court,Verma sought directions for treatment at Balrampur Hospital or King Georges Medical College.
Vermas younger brother Guddu said his brother suffered a paralysis attack inside the jail on September 26 following which he had acute pain on the right side of the body. They moved court after jail authorities did not provide him proper treatment,following which his health condition deteriorating.
The court also asked the jail authorities to file a compliance report on the next date of hearing.
