Stories of fruitful associations can be attributed to networking of the orkut or facebook kind. But there is no proof to confirm the entrepreneurial potential of this web socializing. Web portal Squork,which has tied corporate business heads,students and entrepreneurs of Europe and America together as a fraternity/community,was launched at Indian Institute of Management,Lucknow on March 3.
There is a way of connecting with friends,family,associates and even strangers on the social networking sites,but there is no forum on the Net that brings together people who want to talk serious business but on an informal note, says Dhiraj Adya,who passed out of IIM-Lucknow in 2004 and is Vice President of the New Jersey-based global info-tech consultancy services company US Tech Solutions which runs the portal. This will be a wide range of solutions customised to various verticals and horizontals plans through the business social operating system called ‘Encanvas Secure & Live ES’. I have been in constant touch with my alma mater and I am back to give the new batch of students the opportunity to be a part of the melting pot and evolve.

US Tech Solutions has also decided to work with the Incubation cell at IIM Lucknow to launch the software product at other educational institutions in India.
