Whats it about? In a country where travel shows usually consist of famous people doing the same tried and tested round of London-Paris-New York,UTVs latest show Beg,Borrow,Steal comes as a welcome change. Based on a backpacker format,the show features one intrepid traveller whos asked to travel from one point to another with only a few essentials in their backpack and Rs100 in their wallet. The idea is to survive on a few basics-no first-class travel,no full meals and certainly no comfy beds.

The lonely traveller has to perform a number of whacky tasks along the way. He/she has to beg for food,rides – almost anything to get to their destination. And the crew does not make things any easier-prior to the journey,the contestants are offered a backpack containing limited number of items and they can choose only three more items from the following-bottle of water,packet of biscuits,a tube of Odomos,torch,sleeping bag and sunglasses. The choice of items can make or break the contestants experience.
