The Ghaziabad police have named a five-year old in its chargesheet in a case of rioting that took place in 2008,when the boy was just four.
The chargesheet has been submitted before the chief judicial magistrate.
According to the FIR registered with the Sahibabad police,on September 8,2008,around50people attacked thepowersub-station after repeated powercuts in their area.
The guards at the station tried to explain that due to the interrupted power supply,the transmission of powerwasbecoming impossible.
But themobattacked the station and damaged the cash counter and transformer. The patrolman managed to identify a few of the assailants, reads the FIR. The name of Vishal Chabbra (5) figures among four others in the FIR registered by ZAKhan,a junior engineer at the sub-station that was attacked. The investigation officer of the case,Omprakash,a sub-inspector with the Sahibabad police station,submitted his report with theCJMcourt stating that all the five accused were influential people. The matter has been brought to our notice and we will investigate it, said a senior police official
