With the arrest of three persons,the Hamirpur police claimed to have solved the kidnapping and murder of a class VII student. Subhash alias Ankur was kidnapped from Pathanpura on May 2 while he was on his way home from school. The police also recovered Rs 2,63,000,which is part of the Rs 3 lakh ransom money the kidnappers had taken from Ankurs family. During interrogation,the abductors said they killed Ankur on May 3. Ankurs body was found in Devendra Nagar area on Panna-Satna road in Madhya Pradesh. The arrested persons have been identified as Janki Rakhwar,Raku and Sunil alias Laxmi,all residents of Madhya Pradesh. Rakhwar was a driver with the victims family.
