Not a thematic album,Love. Hate. Heroes,is a collection of songs not driven by one particular idea. Dev feels,“As a band,we’ve had our fair share of not-so-good recordings in the past. When we finally started discussing the recording of our debut album a couple of years back,the one thing we agreed on was to not compromise on the production value. Now,we’re happy we waited for what we hold in our hands.”

And it’s not just the selection of tracks,the band is also offering free download of their first video of the song called My Life — an animated feature about superheroes saving the world. “We didn’t want to tease our audience any further. They have waited a long time and now that it’s finally happening we are only glad to share it with them,” says drummer Surojit Dev.

Since the process began on May 1,over 200 listeners have already cast their votes online. And as they continue their pan-India tour to promote the album and get a wider network of people to vote for their favourite tracks,Them Clones is also preparing another interactive initiative called ‘Clone the CD’. “That’s phase two of our plan and will take place after the album launch in

August. With every purchase of our CD,the listener will be given a code that will allow them free download of one of the seven remaining tracks from our website,” says Dev. Right now,the band is preparing to shoot the video for the song called The bomb song,which will go on air around August.
