Cong miffed at fudged BPL list

“We will fight against this and if the issue is not addressed we will go for protests after the Puja,and not let the BDO office open,” he added.

According to Bhuniya,most of the Central government schemes cannot be implemented unless the BPL list is authentic and free of CPM’s intervention. He alleged that even schemes like Swasthya Bima Yojana have been introduced only in two districts of West Bengal,while it has been implemented in all states across the country.

Bhuniya,who is heading for Delhi on Monday,will take up the issue besides others like Vedic Village,Lalgarh and demand the sacking of Paschimanchal Unnayan Affairs Minister Sushanto Ghosh,with the Congress high command.

“The Vedic Village incident shows the breakdown of law and order in the state. We demand a CBI inquiry into the matter to ascertain the guilty. The land mafia,CPM and police have connived together in the case. Wipro and Infosys are being forced to leave the state because the state government could not find them land,” said Bhuniya. “Sushanto Ghosh is a gangster and has no right to stay in the ministry. His comments about the failure of the joint operations in Lalgarh are not called for. He should be sacked by the CM,” he said.
