Kolkata:Police have arrested five persons for allegedly molesting a women and then breaking her brothers wrist for trying to protect her. The accused identified as Pintu Sk,Aalo Sk,Safik Sk,Rinku Sk and Saddam Sk,all from Dighipara area of Rampurhat allegedly molested and tried to abduct the 26-year-old girl at Rampurhat subdivisional hospital area on Sunday night. When her brother,27,protested,the accused beat him up,broke his hand and fled.

Kolkata:There was tension at Garden Reach area in Kolkata on Monday when some casual workers of Kolkata Port Trust had a brawl with port officers over irregular salary. Two assistant police inspectors rushed there to control the situation and received minor injuries.
