Yesterday Once Again

The much-touted private salon show of Rohit Bal at the Delhi Fashion Week took off at the central atrium of Emporio Mall,and turned out to be a mall-crawler’s delight,with guests and visitors thronging all the levels of the mall for a look in. Bal gave a sneak peek of his grand finale collection that will be unveiled on Monday at his new restaurant Cibo at Hotel Janpath in Connaught Place. But for style watchers,the collection was strongly reminiscent of his line last year,with only the palette having undergone a change. Hopefully,the finale will have more in store than the rather tepid abbreviated showing.
