IF you like to let your clothes do the talking, quite literally, then graphic design tees would certainly interest you. And here is someone whose work you can’t afford to miss. Known for his colourful, dreamlike and narrative illustrations and designs, Budi Satria Kwan, a.k.a Radiomode, has designed a limited edition collection of T-shirts for VoxPopClothing, an apparel company. The international illustrator and graphic designer from Indonesia, who has previously designed for brands such as GAP, Tiger Beer and Urban Outfitters, debuts in India with 18 T-shirts that reflect his sense of humour and play with concepts. Be it a bottle green tee with an almost eaten apple that hides the faces of Adam and Eve or that of a boy holding on to the moon as though it were a balloon, the designs pack in a message, albeit in a quirky way. “My designs are inspired by imagination and triggered by looking at common objects,” says Kwan. Available in sizes small to XXL, the unisex T-shirts are available on http://www.voxpopclothing.com and are priced at Rs 599 onwards.
