The third edition of the India International Jewellery Week is all set to wow jewellery lovers this August.

The third edition of the India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) is all set to wow jewellery lovers this August. Launched by the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council in 2010,this five-day event is an initiative to showcase Indias finest in jewellery,be it design,innovation,craftsmanship or technology. This year,it is scheduled to take place at the Grand Hyatt,Mumbai,from August 19 to 23. This will be followed by the India International Jewellery Show,to be held at Mumbais NSE Grounds from August 23 to 27.

Hot Hog

Gluttony will be encouraged and cheered on this weekend in the Capital. While July is celebrated internationally as the Hot Dog Month,and theres always a month-long festival at the All American Diner restaurant celebrating the same,this is the first time they are organising a competition based on the American classic. While the entry fee for participation is Rs. 300,the person with the biggest appetite walks away with a cash prize of Rs,10,000. Not a bad deal for two hours of eating. The contest will take place at All American Diner,India Habitat Centre,on July 28,between 6 pm and 8 pm.
