Venerable Scottish blened whiskey brand,The Famous Grouse,is attempting to create history by entering the Guinness World Book of Records. The company will create the world’s largest whiskey bottle,which will contain 200 litres of the celebrated spirit,and aims to launch it on August 12.The date is significant to the company as it was on the same date in 1905 that its founder,Matthew Gloag,re-branded his company to form The Famous Grouse. The current record for the world’s largest whiskey bottle is held by American brand Jack Daniels,which released a 184-litre bottle last year.

The London Olympic Games are officially on and YouTube India is all set to take it to every nook and corner of the country with its new initiative — It’s Time You Cheer. With an aim to get youngsters from across the country step up support for Indian athletes competing at the Games,and to popularise viewership of the Games,YouTube has flagged off a YouTube Bus for Olympics,which will travel across nine cities,including hometowns of the participating athletes from Punjab and Haryana. The bus will also offer an opportunity to watch Olympic Games live on YouTube. Besides,the portal has rolled out a special theme song composed by Shantanu Moitra and lyricist Swanand Kirkere,titled Aap agar saath hain,to jeet bhi saath hai.
