AAI win Inter Institutional badminton
AAI won both the Mens and Womens team event in The All India Inter Institutional Badminton Tournament organised by Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association at Vijayawada. They have now won the title for the third year in succession. The Mens Team had to fight it out against their traditional opponents FCI ultimately prevailing 3-2 with K. Nanda Gopal and Sumeeth Reddy winning their singles and then teaming up to take the deciding doubles. The womens team beat BSNL 2-0 with N.Sikki Reddy winning her singles and thereafter Abantika Deka & S. Sampada the doubles. Both the AAI teams have thus qualified to participate in the Senior Nationals to be held in Mangalore in January,2012.
Dadwal smashes 152
Ankit Dadwal smashed 27 fours and 2 sixes in his 152 run knock and then grabbed 2/12 as Vikaspuri Coaching Center beat Rajvanshi Cricket Academy by 99 runs to enter the semifinals of the Agrim U-14 cricket tournament at Rajesh Sharma Sports Complex. Alijan (50),Himanshu Bhardwaj (2/10) and Subham Kanojia (2/18) were the other contributors for the winners.

Ravindra Academy triumph
Nitin Jaswan delivered a matchwinning all round performance (25 runs and 3/12) and his contribution alongside that of Dipul Jaswan (3/12),Luv Sharma (37) and Navneet Bhardwaj (35) helped Ravindra Academy beat Cricketers Academy by 81 runs and get four points in the Om Sharma Memorial U-14 cricket tournament at Ramjas Sports Complex.
