For Islam,the biggest issue in the area is water. “Only politics is being played on the issue. We still get water only through tankers,” he says.

Although the Delhi Jal Board provides free water through these tankers,each family has to shell out Rs 100 to 200 according to the number of family members,he adds.

“They constructed a road here just ten days before the Assembly elections. But the development here has taken place because of the Congress,” Islam says.
