AIPS’s Sanjay Bamal (71) and Joginder Singh (64) piled on the runs to set up a 15-run victory after putting a competitive score of 229/9 on the board. Vidya Jain Academy could not string together consistent partnerships to threaten the opposition as Varun Sood (46 n.o.) eventually ran out of partners. Rohit Mehra received the man of the match for his brilliant spell of three wickets for 15 runs.

In the second match of the day,Rajesh Bishnoi’s decision to bat first was backed by his splendid knock of 116,powered the team to a massive 172 runs victory over Malik Sports.

Malik Sports crumbled by the half way stage as they were bowled out for 120.
