A bunch of designers caught our eye with their fun accessories at the Wills India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2015.
Aneeth Arora
Pero’s nursery opened the ongoing fashion week and while the collection itself was a winner, Arora added an extra element with the jewellery. Ayalla Bar earrings in beautiful aqua and green colours worked well for the all-white colour palette that Arora showcased.
Bright Nike shoes with embroidered floral detailing added a spunky angle to the clothes, and so did the headbands with artificial flowers jutting out of them. The collection screamed springtime and the accessories only added to the look and feel of the foliage-inspired range.
Sanchita Ajjampur
With retro as the theme designer Sanchita Ajjampur went all the way with blingy shoes and sunglasses. Multi-strap sling back sandals, trucker shoes and loafers in gold and silver added edginess to the range. The shoes were studded with Swarovski Elements. The embellished broad sunglasses worked well with the retro-futuristic collection.

Nachiket Barve
Titled “Kalahari”, this Mumbai-based designer’s range was all about the stark beauty of Africa. He complemented the collection with accessories inspired by the silver jewellery of the Tuareg tribe. The laser-cut acrylic motif cuffs were specially noteworthy as were the stacked platform footwear made from raw wood and jute.
