An old favourite for a venue,a line-up that boasts of some of the worlds best artistes and insightful workshops thrown in,the second edition of the Mahindra Blues Festival,slated to take place on February 11 and 12 at Mumbais Mehboob Studios,promises to lift the blues of those who love the blues. While five-time Grammy Award winner Buddy Guy will enthrall his Indian fans yet again,the event marks the first visit of funk legend Robert Randolph (of the Robert Randolph and the Family Band). Randolph,who Rolling Stones listed among 100 greatest guitarists of all time,is the guest and will be joined by two-time Grammy nominee John Lee Hooker Jr,award-winning Serbian blues guitarist and singer Ana Popovic,and Grammy winner Henry Saint Clair Frederickss blues outfit,Taj Mahal Trio.
