All those violators who gave police a slip may still face action as registration numbers of around 6,000 vehicles have been noted. Chander said due to the elaborate arrangements of Delhi Police and cooperation of people, no accidents or untoward incidents were reported. Major roads were barricaded and special checking teams equipped with alcometers were deployed at major intersections to detect and prosecute violaters.
