Police arrested a man on charges of impersonation while in another case a candidate was booked for UMC in the Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET) in the Ambala district today.
The Deputy Commissioner Shekhar Vidyarthi said that Raksh,a resident of Bhiwani who was appearing in place of Manoj resident of Hissar,was arrested after he was booked for impersonation by the police. In another case,a UMC case was framed against a candidate appearing from a centre at Mullana. His paper was cancelled after he was declared ineligible to appear in the test.
Vidyarthi claimed that barring the two cases,the eligibility test was accomplished fairly and peacefully in all the 46 examination centres. He said that the test would also be held on Wednesday. Thousand of candidates from all over the Haryana had appeared for the test and the Ambala district administration had made full arrangements fair conduct of the test.
The district administration has set up 19 centres at Ambala City,16 at Ambala Cantonment,six at Naraingarh and 5 at Mullana sub divisional headquarters where candidates from all over the state were appearing.
