It’s drama queen’s dramarama at best. After bringing in the starcast of Baa,Bahoo and Baby on the sets along with Gautami Kapoor’s invaluable advise,Rakhi Ka Swayamwar’s roped in designer Neeta Lulla, jewellery designer Farah Ali and model Marc Robinson to style Rakhi and the prospective grooms. The botoxed bride has made it amply clear – “I want to look like Aishwarya on my wedding day.” Taking note,Neeta and Farah have taken up the task of designing Rakhi’s clothes and jewellery for her wedding. While Neeta’s working on a grand princess look,Farah’s been showing glittering rocks and baubles to Rakhi. From intricate stone studded designs to diamonds, kundans, emerald and rubies,Rakhi’s busy modelling them out.

On a Aishwarya’s Jodha look for Rakhi,Neeta says she liked the look Aishwarya had carried in Jodha Akbar and wanted something similar. “Keeping this in mind,I have designed an ethnic Indian lehanga for her for the wedding. Whereas for sangeet,we have kept an Indo Western look for Rakhi. I have chosen bright colours like reds, shades of pinks and oranges for her,” tells Neeta. Meanwhile,Marc’s busy honing the communication and dressing skills of the men. Ask him what he’d like to change in Rakhi, and he winks,”She is a very smart and confident girl. She can carry herself really well. I do no think I will have to work much on her looks. However, since she always says that she faces difficulty in conversing in English,I will work on improving her communication skills in the language.” Now that’s to the point! To get a glimpse of Rakhi’s bridal trousseau tune in to Rakhi Ka Swayamvar on Thursday,July 9,at 9 pm only on NDTV Imagine.
