If you are clueless about which fabric to wear, are still struggling with garment fittings or can’t get that look or design right, here’s help. Fashionista,a Manimajra-based design institute is all set roll out a comprehensive workshop on fashion fundas, especially for boutique owners.

“Garment fittings, design ideas, colour concepts, technical aspects to fabrics, season’s look are some of the problems that boutique owners face that lead to dissatisfaction among customers. In fact,at this year’s Vanity Fair at Whispering Willows, the Fashionista stall was flooded with enquiries from harried boutique owners. All they wanted to know was how to deliver the right look to their customer. So,we decided to run a workshop exclusively for boutique owners and educate them about fashion,” says Honii Sandhu. A lot of boutique owners find it difficult to translate a design from the magazine, follow trends, source materials,or chase the latest looks. “We educate them about technical details, fashion history and vocabulary and merchandise in order to run their businesses successfully and with conviction.”

A three-month,comprehensive course is on offer which aims at fulfilling the gap for those who are already in the industry but have not had the opportunity to gain formal and practical education in the area. The batches begin from May 17. Registrations are open till May 15.
