City-based Anil Talwar’s Jewellery Couture Show,which the jeweller organises with wife Neena playing a gracious host,has entered its fourth year. The annual showcase of jewellery designs has always been a well-attended affair and this show,held at Hotel Mountview on Sunday evening,was no different. To add to the the glamour quotient,the Talwars have often roped in celebrities to walk the ramp dressed in their jewels. While last year saw Hema Malini and Esha Deol,this year,the Talwars decided to invite “family friends” Raveena Tandon,actor-director Puneet Issar and veteran actor Ranjeet. The men seemed out of place since the jeweller doesn’t have an exclusive men’s collection,but offered full support through their wives.

“Every year,we strive to present the best designs and styles on offer,” mentioned Anil Talwar. The show saw three separate lines — all- gold,gold and diamond and polki collections. The jewellery was indeed well crafted and highlighted why the jeweller is much sought after in the region. Raveena Tandon played her part well— gushing about the brand and walking the ramp with much flamboyance “I love coming to Chandigarh and while I have been here recently,this time was special,” mentioned Tandon,who was togged in an ornate polki set and an overwhelming outfit. The jewellery was surely the showstopper.
