While most Congress leaders are likely to be present at Congress Bhawan on Amarinders big day on Friday,Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ambika Soni has excused herself on grounds of illness,so has Usha Thakkar,who was made in charge to conduct the organisational elections in the state. Former Congress President SS Dullo,who is in England following the death of a relative too is likely to be absent. However,there are others who cannot afford to miss it. Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly,Rajinder Kaur Bhattal will be present and so will outgoing President Mohinder Singh Kaypee,who has to pass on the baton to the next chief. MP Pratap Singh Bajwa and MLA Jagmeet Brar,too,are reported to have affirmed their attendance.
