* Q. Were you nervous? Were there doubts?
I was a little nervous of coming on national television. I didn’t expect this kind of response and was not sure of the outcome. The conversation with the hosts of the show helped me clear out a lot of confusions. Mohnish and Addite made me introspect and think of questions that I myself had never thought of. My brother in Switzerland also managed to watch the episode online and we were immediately flooded with so many calls! And I got a life partner who fits all my and my parents’ criteria’s in a short span two short weeks!

* Q. Was it love at first sight?
No it wasn’t love at first sight. I met Swechha and her family and I spoke with her for 45 minutes before giving the green signal.

* Q. Can you tell me a little bit about your journey?
I work as a manager in ICICI Bank. I believe in the arranged marriage system,and don’t mind following customs and traditions. When I came to know about Star Vivaah,I thought that it is a new medium and I should give it a try. Through the channel,we received 1500 responses,and we shortlisted more than a 100 people,but among all the proposals Swechha and her family’s stood out. They stay nearby,our horoscopes matched,and we clicked. We got married on June 20 in Bhopal.

* Q. Do you believe in destiny,and that matches are made in heaven?
I do believe that matches are made in heaven but one needs to make efforts to find the correct life partner. I met the “One” here on STAR Vivaah.

* Q. How did the show help you make the decision?
