School bus impounded for overcrowding

Traffic police on Friday impounded the bus of Satient Secondary Public School after it was found overcrowded during a routine checking in the city.

The bus,bearing a Haryana registration number,was impounded as the fifty-seater vehicle of a Pinjore school was found overloaded. The bus was carrying 110 children,said Mian Singh,Sub Inspector,Traffic,Panchkula.

The bus bears a Haryana registration number and the driver was not even carrying the necessary documents. The bus was impounded during a traffic naka which was set up on the dividing road of Sector 14 and 15 in the city on Friday.

The driver was neither carrying the registration number,nor did he have any license, said Singh. He added that the bus had a Haryana registration number. The children had come from Pinjore where they had written their exam and were comping to Panchkula.
