Rubinderjit Singh Brar new DPI (Schools)

A day after HCS officer Kamlesh Kumar Bhadoo was relieved of his duties, the UT Administration assigned the charges of Director Higher Education and Director Public Instructions (Schools) to Rubinderjit Singh Brar, who is a PCS officer.

Earlier, Brar was holding the charges of Agriculture Census Officer, Assistant Registrar Cooperative Society, Additional Director (Administration), and HOD of Government College of Art and Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32. PCS officer Karnail Singh has been given the charges of Director Technical Education-cum-(ex-officio) Joint Secretary Technical Education, Director Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Director Museum and Art Gallery, thus relieving Amit Talwar, STA in-charge, Prince Dhawan, SDM (Central), and Amandeep Kaur of their charges, respectively.

S K Jain, Director Industries-cum-General Manager, District Industries Centre, UT, has been assigned the charges of Joint Registrar Cooperative Societies, Agriculture Census Officer and Additional Director (Administration),Government Medical College Hospital, Sector 32. Jain will continue to hold charge as Director Social Welfare; Managing Director, Chandigarh Schedule Caste, Backward Classes and Minorities Financial Development Corporation; Managing Director, Child and Women Development; and Joint Secretary (ex-officio), Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
