Officers from the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Pakistan Rangers discussed various-border related issues including unprovoked firings and illegal crossings during the quarterly DIG-level meeting at the Attari border today.

The Pakistani delegation, led by Deputy Director-General of the Pakistan Rangers Shafqat Khan was received by DIG,BSF,C Vasudevan at the border checkpost before the daylong talks.

The Pakistanis, however, insisted no rockets were fired from their side, and expressed ignorance of attempts to infiltrate or illegally cross into India. “No rocket was fired from our side,” said Khan.
