PUTA holds meet

The Panjab University Teachers Association (PUTA) executive met on Thursday to discuss various issues. It requested the PU Syndicate to review the application of Prof K Gauba (Director Principal of Dental Institute) for his repatriation. “PUTA executive is in favour of more interaction between students and teachers to strengthen the academic environment of the campus,” said PUTA secretary Dr M C Sidhu. Executive members also expressed solidarity with the University Business School faculty. It was unanimously resolved to hold a general body meeting on February 23.
