Naughty Notes

Owing to its eclectic mix of dance numbers,Punjabi film Naughty Jatts is riding high on its music even before its release. At the film’s music release in Chandigarh earlier this week,director Pankaj Batra said,“Naughty Jatts is a delightful collection of breezy songs peppered with the essence of freshness and upbeat tunes.” Also present on the occasion were actors Aarya Babbar,Neeru Bajwa,Binu Dhillon and Roshan Prince,the film’s producers Satish Katyal and Sandeep Bhalla,music director Anil Sagar. Batra added that the album has compositions ranging from the high-adrenaline desi beats to soft romantic and soulful music.

The tracks include Putt naughty jattan de,and the popular Dekh shokina lagdi Katrina. While Sun sajna sada ishq hai aisa celebrates love,Surkh gulabi bulliya praises beauty. Taang sajan di talks about lovers,while Jaspinder Narula,Yugraj Singh and Adrija bring alive the traditional flavour of Punjab in the folk song Sare taan gehne. The songs have been sung by G-Deep,Roshan Prince,Harshdeep Kaur,Jaspinder Narula,Yugraj Singh,Adrija and Penny Garewal. Jaggi Singh,G-Deep,Sham Balkar,Vikram Khanjuria and Anil Sagar have given soulful music,while Devshi Khanduri,Kaka Purian and G-Deep have penned the lyrics. Niraj Gera has done the sound designing and the background music is by Mangesh Dhakde.
