They are at it. After launching their first composition and video Duur on youtube.com,city’s band,De Innovatives is out with another one called Mumbai Blues. “It’s yet another social effort and for a cause bigger than life itself – anti-terrorism,” Nirdosh talks about the song which was shot in and around the city over a period of two days on a shoe-string budget. “It was a race against time,and this had Youth United join hands with us,” Nirdosh also mentions the volunteers including video director Amardeep Singh,cameraman Mehfooz Khan,resource provider JS Bahia and Raman Puri. But the band’s main inspiration,reveals Nirdosh,came from a person who defies all barriers of age and courage. “Jai Pal Behl is a messenger of world peace and non-violence,a preserver of humanity and a firm believer of God. Behl is also producer-director of ‘Commendable Effort Award’ winner Film Vocal War-World Peace at The World Peace and Music festival 2007,” tells Nirdosh. About the song,it’s divided into three sections – while the first is an expression of the band towards the Mumbai massacre,the second associates with a departed soul from our region and the third voices every common man’s rage and anguish against these mindless acts of terror.
