Southwest monsoon has finally withdrawn from the city. The Met department said the city received more than normal rainfall during this monsoon 800.2 mm rainfall in June,July and August.

Southwest monsoon has finally withdrawn from the city. The Met department said the city received more than normal rainfall during this monsoon 800.2 mm rainfall in June,July and August. The normal rainfall is 703.8 mm. Even September witnessed heavy rainfall. In fact on September 22,the city received 122.1 mm rain,the second highest rainfall in a single day in the last 10 years.
