A 45-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in his residence on Monday.

A 45-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in his residence on Monday. Narinder Jain,general manager of Hafed,based in Sector 6,Panchkula,was suffering from depression,the police said. The suicide came to light around 5 am.

The victim’s wife,Anita Jain,is an advocate in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. On the family’s request,postmortem was not conducted,as they had ruled out any foul play,a police officer said.
