Shubham’s knock set up Loyalists’ win
Panchkula: An unbeaten knock of 74 runs by Shubham guided St Soldier’s Loyalists to an emphatic 47-run win over Mountview Wizards,Baltana in a league match of the SixthSatluj Hot Weather Cricket Tournament being played at Satluj Public School,Sector 4 on Wednesday. St Soldier’s Loyalists won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first,they posted a total of 186 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 25 overs. Shubham was the top scorer for the team as he played an unbeaten innings of 74 runs. Anish was the next highest scorer for the team as he played a knock of 26 runs. For Mountview Wizards,Baltana,Sangyam Nagpal claimed two wickets for 25 runs while Rahul claimed two wickets for 27 runs. Chasing a target of 187 runs in the allotted 25 overs,Mountview Wizards,Baltana,were bundled out for a total of 139 runs in 23.2 overs. Sangyam Nagpal played a knock of 30 runs while Mandeep played a knock of 21 runs. For the winning team,Shubham claimed two wickets for seven runs while Arjit claimed two wickets for 28 runs.

Golf camp from May 25
Chandigarh: An eight-day long EGTF Junior Golf Coaching Camp will be conducted at Chandigarh Golf Club from May 25 to June 5. This golf camp is for children aged between 8-16 years and will be conducted between 4 pm to 5 pm during these days. The camp will be open to members as well as non-members of the club and players from cities like Ludhiana,Patiala and Jalandhar can also enrol for the camp.

Katoch final from today
Mohali: Chandigarh will take on Patiala in the final of Punjab inter-district tournament for Katoch Shield to be played from May 13 to 16 at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. Vishwas Bhalla will ead Chandigarh while Pankaj Dharmani will captain Patiala.
