Tired of telling your children to switch off the video game? For a change, you might want them to switch it on. The disc that needs to be played is one from the educational series launched by New York based Institute of Play. “These video games provide subject specific knowledge,” says Mitul Dikshit of Dikshant Global School,Panchkula, that has tied up with the institute to set up ‘The Quest To Learn Centre’ at the school. “We have video games like Maths Blaster,Civilization and Alphabets. These are meant for students from class I to X. Touching upon various subjects, these have high recall value and keep children interested,” says Dikshit.
