Four arrive in Mohali

Four newborns were delivered at Civil Hospital in Mohali on Saturday. Getting a New Year gift,all the four women delivered baby boys,confirmed Senior Medical Officer (SMO) Dr Rajiv Bhalla. While three deliveries were conducted in a normal way,one baby was delivered through caesarean operation.

The first baby boy was delivered by Resma at 7.55 am,followed by Parvati at 10.45 am,then Neelam at 12 noon and finally,Mithlesh gave birth to a male child at 12.50 pm,which was the last to be delivered on the first day of 2011.

Dr Bhalla disclosed that all the women and their newborns were hale and hearty. “While the three women,whose deliveries were conducted normal,were discharged,the one with caesarean was kept under observation,” revealed the SMO. Ask them how they feel,the new mothers say,“We would not have expected or even dreamt more than getting a baby child on New Year. It’s the biggest gift we have got”.
