To spice up an otherwise insipid time of the year,Moti Mahal restaurant in Sector 17 has rolled out a ‘Flambe Sizzler’ festival. Interestingly, there’s a fusion of French flambé and Indian cuisine on offer here. “The idea was to do something different,” mentions general manager A K Sagar as he lists out a host of Indian sizzlers on offer that have been put together using French herbs and flavourings! “But we would be serving them with Indian style chutneys and naan,” he adds. The non-vegetarian line-up includes ‘Jhinga Kesari’,‘Jhinga Nawabi’,‘Jhinga Achari’,‘Murgh Tikka’,‘Murgh Chooza’,‘Barra Kebab’ and more. The vegetarian options include ‘Paneer Nawabi’,‘Paneer Kesari’,‘Bharwaan Aloo’ and the likes. “It will be a unique experience for foodies to see their dishes going up in flames as they make their way to the table for that’s what Flambe is all about,” remarked restaurant owner Sanjay Ahuja as he went on to add. “The purpose behind conducting this food festival is to introduce foodies to absolute new eating experiences. Food lovers will definitely relish each and every sizzler during this festival.” While there as many as 20 types to choose from, the ‘Mix Sizzler’ comes highly recommended and portion wise is good for a family of four. “It brings in prawns specially marinated in rosemary and the flavours really stand out,” informed Sagar. The festival is on till May 10.
