Eight on Eight

The music album of the forthcoming Punjabi film Heer & Hero was launched on Saturday. Producer and singer Etch B,director Sagar S Sharma and music director Gurmeet Singh released the album,along with singer Labh Janjua,and actors Aarya Babbar,Gurpreet Ghuggi and Preet Bhullar. The film hits the screens on October 18 and also marks the debut of Minissha Lamba and Hazel Keech in Punjabi cinema.

The film has an eight-track album,with playback by Sonu Nigam,Janjua,Master Saleem,Kamal Khan and Miss Pooja. The number Heer te hero marda by Lehmber Hussainpuri is already doing the rounds on music charts. Geeta Zaildar has sung the title song,Heer and hero,with lyrics by Gabbar. Haule Haule is sung by Ranjit Rana,with music by Mukhtiar Sahota and lyrics by Yadwinder Pamma. Kamal Khan and Shweta Pandit have sung the duet Heeriye,composed by Gurmeet Singh. Ullu da patha is an out and out dance number,sung by Janjua. The romantic Dil na dil track is sung by Nigam and Ankita Sachdev. Miss Pooja and Master Saleem are the voices behind the peppy track,Lak Tunutunu. Finally,Etch B has given voice to Hurray.
