Richie Rich Siddharth Khanna fulfills dreamer Sameer Pagare dream in UTV’s Big Switch

C’MON now,don’t put me in a stereotype. Rich people aren’t that bad!” Siddhartha Khanna defends himself and refuses to be caged in a slot. Okay,granted you guys can be caring and concerned,and keeping up with the spirit,congratulations are in order for Siddhartha and Sameer Pagare for winning the booty in UTV’s reality show Big Switch. With this,a pretty confused Siddhartha has finally managed to do something right – help his not so well-off partner Sameer realise his dream. “But not so fast,” says Siddhartha who has now sort of appointed himself as Sameer’s ‘life coach’. “Sameer’s dream was to own an event management company,and ten lakhs is just not enough especially when you don’t have the experience. So we’ve put that money in a fixed deposit under Sameer’s name and are helping him first gain an experience in the field,make some money and five years down the line open with a big bang,” Siddhartha has already tied up with friends in the business to help Sameer out. But why,isn’t the show over? “Not exactly. Before Big Switch happened,I was an aimless wanderer who woke up at 4pm and had a super spoilt life. I didn’t work,had no focus,no aim in life,and then the call for this show came. I thought why not take it for I’ll only end up helping someone,” interestingly this has become one of life’s missions for Siddhartha. “Focus on self growth and help the countrymen,” encouraged by the big win,he’s now tied up with the channel to indulge in creating more awareness and working on other social causes. “People need guidance all the time – emotional,psychological,financial…and helping them through is a miracle for me,” Siddhartha gets going.
