Delay in Class X results: PSEB orders probe

Acting on the complaint of Institute for the Blind,Sector 26,Balwinder Singh,Secretary of Punjab School Education Board,on Wednesday,marked an inquiry into the delay in uploading Class X results for the students of the institute.

Acting on the complaint of Institute for the Blind,Sector 26,Balwinder Singh,Secretary of Punjab School Education Board (PSEB),on Wednesday,marked an inquiry into the delay in uploading Class X results for the students of the institute.

A day after the results were declared,the board failed to upload the results of 14 students of Institute for Blind leaving the parents and school staff fuming.

Principal KR Sood said,Similar situations have been encountered in the past 15 years. While the board officials said that the cause of delay is yet to be determined,Sood blamed that the board had misplaced the award list of the students.

PSEB secretary said,We have received a complaint. We are inquiring the matter and I am sure we will soon resolve the issue.

Sood added,We face a lot of criticism from parents,every year,for no fault of ours. When we contacted the PSEB officials,last evening,they said the award list of the students might have been misplaced,which led to the delay.
