Camp on traffic awareness held at

The NSS wing of DAV Model School,Sector 15,organised a traffic awareness camp in collaboration with the Chandigarh Traffic Police on Tuesday. The camp is organised at the school ever year to inculcate road safety awareness in students. “It is heartbreaking to see youngsters being crushed in road accidents due to negligent driving. We want to save these valuable lives by making them aware of traffic rules and road safety measures”,said the principal of the school,Dr (Mrs) Rakesh Sachdeva. A lecture on road safety measures was delivered by SP Police and Security,Chandigarh Administration,H S Doon. Civilian traffic Marshalls Pramod Singla and Gurnam Singh were also present on the occasion. DSP,traffic,J S Cheema and his staff answered various queries of students related to their driving habits and the rising chaos.
