Senior Punjab BJP leader and former minister Balramji Dass Tandon has said that the Centres action on the midnight of June 4 and 5 against yoga guru Ramdev and his supporters at Ram Lila grounds in Delhi was highly condemnable. He said it reminded the countrymen of the days before the promulgation of emergency in 1975. It is perfectly clear to the people that Congress government is hell bent on throttling the voice of the countrymen on issues like corruption,black money and rising prices which will positively rebound on them many times, he added in a statement released here today.

Congress seeks CBI probe into land allotment to Ramdev by BJP-ruled states

JALANDHAR: Congress on Tuesday demanded a CBI enquiry into the allotment of more than 644 acres of land to Baba Ramdev in Haridwar by the BJP-led Uttarakhand government. Congress MLA from Bholath Sukhpal Singh Kahira also pointed out that Himachals BJP government had given Ramdev 127 bighas prime land.
